FIX-3
FIX-3 self-drilling screws is designed for industrial use and is conform to AS3566 Class-3 standards. FIX-3 is known for its CLIMATEX™-3 Coating System which provides up to 20 years rust proof warranty and protection.
FIX-3 conforms to AS3566 Class-3 accelerated testing and mechanical coating compliance added with a 15-micron epoxy polymer resin barrier that provides exceptional protection against oxidation. FIX-3 screws is compatible with AZ70 to AZ150 metal sheets

PRODUCT FEATURES
Screw Head
- The screw head securely fastens to the block without loosening during operation due to its reliable and efficient design.
- You can choose colors that match the color of the metal sheet, both standard and special colors, for enhanced aesthetics and increased resistance to UV rays and corrosion.
Shank Protection
- Removing the sharp edges of the metal sheet prevents the screw from scraping against the roof panel, preserving the coating and preventing damage to the protective coating. This also helps prevent the issue of missing screws.
High Thread
- The screws on the folded edges of the roof sheet are sealed with rubber to prevent leaks and to help control the roof sheet to align with the working positions.
Sabre Point
- There are options available for use, including steel, special thick steel, timber, and composite screws.
- The drill point end is sharp, drills quickly, and is user-friendly. It’s specially designed to allow suitable usage for each type of material, ranging from steel with a thickness of 0.4 mm to patterned steel of 12.5 mm.
- The Sabre Drilling Point is uniquely designed for thick steel, capable of drilling through up to 20 mm thick steel.
- Screws with pointed ends are designed for timber use.
Dekseal® TrueBlue® EPDM Seal
Each FIX-IT fasteners is equipped with a premium EPDM TrueBlue® seal by DEKS Industrial.

CLIMATEX™-3
CORROSION PROTECTION COATING SYSTEM
15 micron epoxy polymer resin barrier layer that provides exceptional protection against oxidation, heat, chemicals, and scratches.
A tin/zinc coating with a 20-30% tin to zinc ratio, a minimum porosity of 8, and a thickness of 25 microns.
Controlled heat treatment process that prevents hydrogen embrittlement and result in optimal hardness on both the surface and core of fasteners, avoiding any metallurgical defects.

AS3566 ACCELERATED TESTING COMPLIANCE
(A) AS3566 CLASS-3 ACCELERATED TESTING COMLIANCE
REQUIREMENT
1. Salt Spray Test in accordance with AS2331.3.1 – 1,000 hrs
(less than 5% red rust)
Salt spray test conducted according to AS2331.3.1 for 1,000 hours.
2. Kesternich Test in accordance with DIN 50018 – 15 cycles
(less than 5% red rust)
Acid test conducted in accordance with DIN 50018 for 15 cycles.
3. Humidity Test 100% in accordance with ASTM D2247 – 1,000 hrs
(no cracking, aking and peeling)
Moisture test conducted according to ASTM D2247 for 1,000 hours.
4. Ultraviolet Test in accordance with ASTM G53 – 2,000 hrs
(no cracking, aking and peeling)
Testing for ultraviolet resistance conducted according to ASTM G513 for 2,000 hours.
(B) AS3566 CLASS-3 METALLIC COATING COMLIANCE
REQUIREMENT
1. Mechanically Coated tin/zinc 20% to 30% tin, balance zinc
Coating metal with a combination of zinc and aluminum, with a zinc content ranging from 20% to 30%.
2. Minimum Porosity rating of mechanically plated coating 8
The coating’s hardness level is no less than 8.
3. Minimum Thickness of metallic coating 25 micron
The thickness of the coating is not less than 25 microns.
20-Year Rust Proof Warranty
Characterised by fall-out from adjoining severe industrial environments or where small industries lead to significant industrial fall-out. Generally includes other service buildings located near heavy industrial plants, including out-buildings of the plant itself.
